Directions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed items in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the stove and leave to cool fully. Pour into an sterilised bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for around four weeks.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, let it rest for one hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into a cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Strain into a chilled martini glass or similar, garnish with a few cranberries and finish using a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
